God is still faithful in the hardtimes!

So Yesterday, we found out that Michael had staph infection again, but this time it is in his nose. Sometimes I wonder ehy we have been through so much sickness, between the both of us in the past year and a half. Despite my wonderings, I thanks God for his ever present faithfulness, because only through his grace are we able to go through these trials without trouble. I don’t mean that going through trials doesn’s hurt, and there are little scratches and bruises on the way, but God is still faithful.

“Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself; the Lord will hear when I call.” – Psalm 4:3

The Lord hears our prayers and he answers us when we call, this is a great comfort that we have in the Lord that he is always there with us and is listening to us no matter what we are going through!

Life as a student can be interesting at times…

This is the part of the semester where people start to get sick, because of the lack of sleep. I had this expereince four years ago my freshman year, when I was not as serious about school as I am now, I barely slept every night and thought I would be fine, lo and behold the week of finals I had Mono and barely made it through my finals, and for Christmas break when I went home to visit my parents, when I was suppose to be having fun  and visiting relatives, I was sleeping. Luckily I have found the importance of sleep rest…

This experience that I had four years ago reminds me why the Bible talks so much about sleep and rest. The Pslams  talk about sleeping and resting as a means of being renewed.

I will lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.

Pslam 3:5

As a student it is important to be renewed with sleep and rest and the sustaining of the Lord, so that I am able to function in the way that the Lord has called me for this moment, that is to be a student.

Hello world!
